Hey friends! It is me Suhail and it's been some time since our last newsletter, as I've been busy working on project called Onboard (stay tuned for some exciting news!), but I'm back and eager to update you on the latest developments in the world of Web3.
So, let’s start with the biggest news happened this week.
News and Announcements 📰
There has been some drama in the Arbitrum community. The Arbitrum Foundation started selling ARB tokens before the community had approved their $1 billion budget, which ultimately caused the price of $ARB to drop. The Arbitrum Foundation claims that they thought the governance proposal was just a "ratification" of decisions they had already made but many are unhappy with this move. The situation is still unfolding so let's wait and see what happens next.
Uniswap has been making waves in the crypto world with its recent record breaking spot market trading volume of $71.6 billion in March. This is a whopping 45% higher than that of Coinbase. The rise in trading volume on DEXs like Uniswap is a clear sign that users are gravitating towards decentralized exchanges.
On the innovation side, Dune has just released DuneSQL, a new engine for querying Dune's V2 data in a faster, more powerful, and user-friendly way.
If you're not familiar with Dune Analytics, it allows anyone to publish and access to blockchain data in real-time. It allows you to instantly create and share analysis of Ethereum data. Dune converts smart contract data into a simple human-readable format that can be queried with SQL.
You can learn more about it here.

Lately, I've been working on a series of tutorials about building decentralized video applications with Livepeer and other Web3 projects. So if you want to build a video project with FVM, or IPFS, Arweave, these tutorials are for you. You can find them here: https://docs.livepeer.org/tutorials/all
Finally, I want to give a shoutout to the Fleek team for writing some very insightful blogs about different Web3 projects. If you're curious about any Web3 project, there's a high chance the Fleek team has written about it here.
